· 7th July 2005 - RTS meets The Parish Priest, St John de Britto to request to agree on donating the land without the conditions, which are administrative issues on the school. Such issues will invariably be attended and cleared once the school is developed with all the modern facilities. RTSL learnt that at this point that a very large portion of land owned by the Church was donated to the MOE more than 14 years ago which is in the rear of the Church, closer to the lagoon to develop the school. This land of 100 feet by 175 feet, total of 17,500 sq feet was utilized by the school with construction of suitable temporary classrooms and toilet facilities before the Tsunami Disaster destruction. RTS immediately agreed to utilise this land for the new school building. However, it was noticed that a considerably small part of this land was already being used to construct the Church Mission Hall.
