Our versatile coconut peat disks are ideal for seed trays and nurseries and are also used as pet reptile bedding.

Each disk is subject to a series of Quality control processes designed to detect and reject production flaws.

The "Rubberized Coir Mats" are composed of 90% coconut coir fibres + 10% natural centrifuged rubber latex. The 10% natural centrifuged rubber latex content has a 60% dried rubber content. This slightly expensive "centrifuged rubber latex" is used to prevent the formation of any harmful fungus - which occurs when ordinary rubber is used.

This is made out of 100% coir fibre stuffed into hand knotted net bags The durability of the rolls depend largely on the hand knotted geo net cover. Due to its heavy nature and its flexible character, the rolls can be installed very effectively in almost any soil gradient to prevent soil erosion and sedimentation. Sediment logs reduces the hydraulic pressure gradient in the flow of water and also reduce the migration of silt from the ground surfaces. Sediment logs are similar in appearance to the geo logs and dimension but has lower densities. Available in 1 metre, 2 metre or 3 meter lengths. 200 cm., 300 cm or 400 cm diameters and many different weights for different applications

This can cover areas of stream banks or shorelines and with wetland vegetation grown in it. Prevents erosion in areas with tidal variation, detention basins or wetlands. These blankets are grown in nurseries prior to installation. The vegetative blanket is then used very effectively on stream/river banks to stop erosion.

____The Net Pad Combination |

The Net Pad is a product where GeoNet & Rubberized coir pad are bonded together for improved efficiency in bio engineering applications. Available in any width and lengths up to 28 meters . Can be produced in many different grid/mesh sizes and different types of Geo Nets. The rubberized coir pad thickness can be 2mm - 10mm with varying densities.
This product is designed to be used as a topsoil cover to prevent erosion of soil and enhance the biological aspects of engineering. It has good strength and stability to use for high gradient slopes. The durability of the Net Pad is around 4-8 years. The degradability is a factor that depends largely on sunlight, moisture the soil condition and environmental climatic conditions.
The Net Pad has 2 important functional materials. Namely, the Geo Net made of coir fibre twisted into nets for the purpose of strength and function to reduce the flow velocity or the force that will create runoff effect of water on the topsoil layer. The other component is the rubberized coir pad, as a composite material will reduce the surface infiltration that leads up to the loosening of the subsoil. It will also help any vegetation to propagate the root system in most adverse conditions. The pad is made out of coir pith at the bottom layer and coir fibre with natural rubber latex to form a pad. Both these products absorb up to 800% and 180% respectively on weight-to-weight basis of water. The absorbed water is retained in the cellular structure and is slowly released to the root system. The pad is designed to allow air to penetrate to the top subsoil. It can also be designed to allow light to penetrate. These two important properties facilitate quick and strong growth of the seed/plant to take root to the ground.
The Net Pad further helps to reduce evaporation of excess pore water of the soil underneath during the daytime. Considering all these factors and the potential design variable of the 2 layered structures, potential users will have at their disposal a unique product that can satisfy almost all the design criteria for erosion and earth stabilization on bio engineering.
It provides an attractive, cost effective and environmentally compatible solution to erosion control.
